Doug played in the United States Football League (USFL) as the starting QB for the Oklahoma Outlaws. Also, DID YOU KNOW that Doug guided his college team, the Grambling State University Tigers to a 36–7 (.837 winning percentage) record as a four-year starter, and led the Tigers to three Southwestern Athletic Conference Championships. He was also names "Black College Player of the Year," twice.
